2011 draft so far....

It has left me shaking my head.  Not one player has been drafted to address the need for pass rushers.  I cannot understand why the Patriots do not draft impact players on defense.  I cannot understand the continued stockpiling of draft picks only trade them away.  I read where sports analysts are referring to his as "mortaging the present".  I am beginning to lose even more faith in BB's assessment of the team's needs.  Maybe it is time to get him out of the GM-type role he has had.

Staying away from the Boston sportswriters today

I can only imagine what they are writing this morning.  I suspect these same folks who were writing previously and speculating about a 100-win season are now turning to gloom and doom.  A 3-1 loss to Cleveland does not help.  But, once the 'Sox straight stringing together some W's, these 100-win prognosticators will come out of the wood work again.

Moss says heart is with Patriots - Extra Points - Boston.com

I would be extremely surprised if Belicheck brought Moss back to New England. But, I never really thought that the would traded for him in the first place. I could be wrong again.

Woods happy to give up grounds crew job - Extra Points - Boston.com

Crable may see life again on the Patriots' practice squad. Pierre Woods add depth to the special teams and outside linebacker corps. I hope that Crable can put it all together and contribute. Apparently, he must clear waivers first.

Patriots cut Crable - Extra Points - Boston.com

Only saw him for the first time against the Steelers. He looked tentative and certainly not aggressive. Perhaps he needs more time on the practice squad or BB has given up on him. He is certainly tall and rangy. He did not seem to hustle much.

I think that LB Guyton has demonstrated more aggressiveness than Crable.
